The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Vice President to join our Funds Fiduciary team as part of our financial services business in Delaware. As part of our Delaware team you will:
- exercising fiduciary duties, reviewing transaction documents, coordinating the client acceptance process;
- delivering high levels of client service while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures;
- additional duties will involve assisting with the management of junior staff and involvement with ad hoc projects and potentially representing the Maples Group at various industry association events as required
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- a university degree with an excellent academic background;
- at least eight to ten years’ relevant financial services experience with a particular focus on Institutional investors;
- strong knowledge of all forms of investment funds and strategies;
- experience in reviewing transaction documents and knowledge of corporate governance, relevant local laws and regulatory requirements is a must;
- an understanding of financial statements would be an advantage
- experience liaising with lawyers, investment managers, institutional investors, administrators and other transaction parties located in various international jurisdictions is required;
