Marcus Theatres is in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties including processing invoices and petty cash, preparing journal entries and weekly deposits, creating management reports, resolving customer inquiries via the Accounts Payable inbox, and ensuring accurate account coding for invoices. This role will communicate and partner with our internal procurement team, external vendors, Theatre managers, and various other corporate departments.

What you will be doing :
- Review invoices and petty cash to ensure proper billing and Account coding.
- Review invoices and confirms correct state tax rates.
- Accountable for the coding and verification of necessary invoice approvals.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reporting as needed.
- Responsible for data entry and preparation of journal entries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
