Job Overview:
The role of Maintenance Tech is to support the Maintenance Department team by assisting Lead Tech or Supervisor with daily work orders, Maintenance calls, and Trash cleanup as well as landscaping general duties as assigned
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Keep all housekeeping trash cans and exterior trash cans empty daily.
· Keep all outside property free of trash and debris daily.
· Keep all walkways free of snow and ice in winter.
· Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Lead Maintenance tech as needed.
· Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
· Ability to do general repairs like patching drywall and painting.
· Present and resolve general safety issues.
Qualifications:
· High school or equivalent.
· Prior Maintenance or Landscaping helpful.
· General plumbing knowledge.
· Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
· Ability to work alone or with a team.
· Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner
· Drivers License required.
