Mid-Level Power BI Developer

The Marlin Alliance is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Power BI Developer to support Navy clients in designing and implementing effective data solutions. This role requires a balance of independent project work and collaboration with junior and senior developers. The ideal candidate is experienced in Power BI and Dataverse and can handle client interactions confidently. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to address diverse client needs.
  • Connect and transform data from Dataverse and other sources for use in Power BI.
  • Collaborate with teams and mentor junior developers in Power BI best practices.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.
  • Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports.
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance of Power BI solutions.
  • Document processes, provide training to end users, and create knowledge-sharing resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard creation.
  • Experience working with Dataverse as a data source.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 or PL-400.

Salary Range:
$95,000–$125,000 annually
