The Marlin Alliance is seeking a highly experienced Senior Power BI Developer to lead data-driven projects supporting Navy clients. This role involves designing complex data solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a Power BI expert with extensive experience working with Dataverse and advanced analytics. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Dataverse integrations and data transformations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project requirements, present insights, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Implement performance optimization strategies for Power BI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide user training.
  • Stay current with industry trends and Power BI updates to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and complex dashboard creation.
  • Extensive experience with Dataverse as a primary data source.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and engage with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced experience with Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-600.

Salary Range:
$125,000–$150,000 annually
