Director of Nursing, RN

Pay Range: $118,000 - $127,000 plus bonus opportunity.,

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing, RN (DON) to join our team.

The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of geriatric care, exhibits strong leadership abilities, and has an excellent track record in managing nursing operations.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a DON:

• Develop and implement nursing care plans for residents.
• Manage the nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards for long-term care and assisted living facilities.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor resident health and update care plans as necessary.
• Implement and oversee infection control practices within the facility.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in facility budgeting, planning, and quality assurance processes.
• Stay informed about advancements in long-term care and geriatric nursing.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• RN currently licensed by State of Georgia is required.
• Infection Prevention certification preferred or willingness to become certified upon hire.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• MDS experience
• At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Long term care/memory care experience preferred.
• Ability to take call and work some nights /weekends, and holidays.
