What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at The Martha Washington Inn & Spa?
Flexible Schedule.
Wednesday-Thursdays are required *two required days are subject to change.
Hours vary depending on business needs (24-40 hours/week).
Expectations:
Perform work for upkeep of Inn scheduled by supervisor.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for the hotel (including but not limited to: filter changes for HVAC, draining low pipes, cleaning gutters, pressure washing, etc.).
Able to:
- Cut, hang, and finish drywall
- Patch drywall
- Paint
- Tile Shower/Bathrooms
- Repair ceiling
- Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
- Lay wood and vinyl floors
- Follow direction from upper management, schedule contracted work and work with other maintenance technicians
Essential Skills:

- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Report daily to upper management about progress and completed projects
- Respect team members and managers
- Work well both as a team an independently

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Plumbing: 2 years (Preferred)
