What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at The Martha Washington Inn & Spa?
Our company is looking for a creative bartender with a flair for mixology. You will need to keep up with the demand of our busy bar by rapidly serving drinks. You will help ensure that we offer our customers a high-quality and memorable experience by efficiently keeping the bar stocked. As a bartender, you should have knowledge in preparing and serving cocktails, beer and wine. Running a bar requires you to have great customer service and communication skills. If you are able to adapt to unexpected situations calmly, you would be a great fit for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers according to their orders.
- Take orders and serve food to bar guests
- Ensure restaurant regulations are followed (e.g. checking identity cards, selling alcohol only to legal age).
- Mix, measure and store alcohol beverages according to recipe.
- Offer customers wine, beer and other drinks by presenting them on the bar or through waiters.
- Suggest and prepare cocktails according to customer requirements.
- Be aware of the various ways of serving wine, beer etc. (e.g. glassware and temperature).
- Know all about different kinds of alcohol (e.g. types, color and clarity).
- Follow any special instructions from the supervisor/manager.

Pay: $6.00 - $10.00 per hour
