The Impact
As a Marty Resident in the Strategy department, you will be figuring out what a planner actually does and training on the job. You are gaining this core understanding while finding your own voice and learning how to navigate agency life. There is a lot to learn and ascending that curve will feel overwhelming at times.
But take heart. Under the guidance and mentorship of your Resident Lead, you will form the foundation you will continuously build on and skills you will hone throughout your career.
As a Marty Resident, a lot of your time will be spent exploring. Asked to find the silver bullet stat... the perfect headline... or the audience indexing to support strategic hunches and anchor creative recommendations. You will familiarize yourself with the entire toolbox we use to visualize our audiences, codify culture and inspire our creative.
As you excel, you'll become increasingly valuable to the general rhythm of strategy across your account. You will use your growing dexterity to lighten the burden on your teammates. Anticipate needs and get caught trying to solve the problem. This position will report directly to the Strategy Resident Lead.
