Description
Summary Objective:
This position works within the Accounting Department of The Martino Group, which manages accounting functions for multiple real estate and investment entities. The Property Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor and will have daily interaction with property managers and property owners.

Essential Functions:
· Prepare monthly accounting entries for Cash, Accrual and GAAP books
· Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of transactions and identify any discrepancies
· Prepare, review and propose adjustments for monthly financials
· Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and packets for each property/partnership within portfolio
· Monitor and analyze property-related expenses such as property tax, insurance, utilities, etc.
· Collaborate with property managers and other operations team members to ensure accuracy and analyze property-related expenses
· Assist with Treasury Management at multiple banks (i.e. Positive Pay)
· Assist with CAM reconciliation
· Assist Accounting Supervisor with special projects
