Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our busy otolaryngology healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Otolaryngology specific experience is preferred but not required. Training onsite is available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Provide otolaryngology specific services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using ModMed health record systems, in a timely manner.
- Perform procedures such as laryngoscopy and sinus endoscopy, oversee nursing staff performing allergy testing and immunotherapy, debride ears, conduct consults for surgical patients and other necessary interventions.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding their current disorders and preop/post operative expectations.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Experience
- Active Physicians Assistant/Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state licensure.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $117,998.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
