Stair Builder
Summit Stairs & Millwork is hiring PVC Handlers that will be responsible for PVC orders and millwork products. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
Salary/Benefits:
- Starting at $17-$20/hour, commensurate with education and work experience.
- Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401K plan with match, paid holidays, and paid time off
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to cut, shape, and process PVC materials.
- Load, unload, and move PVC products as needed.
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and production procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to measure materials and mark reference points, cutting lines, or other indicators accurately.
- Capability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment to meet daily production goals.
- Comfort working in a dusty and noisy environment while operating machines and tools.
- Physical ability to:
- Lift 65 pounds from ground level to standing position and 20 pounds above head.
- Pull 20 pounds from standing and kneeling positions, including above head.
- Stand and/or walk for an 8-10-hour shift.
- Frequently bend and stoop during an 8-10-hour shift.
Minimum Experience:
- Entry-level position; background in physical labor preferred.
- Experience using multiple types of woodworking equipment is preferred.
