Mary Wade is looking for an Adult Day Center Director to be responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day operation of the Adult Day Center (ADC) in accordance with current standards that govern Adult Day Centers.

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $57,000 to $65,000 (Commensurate with Experience)

Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience preferred. Experience managing staff of 10 or more employees
  • 5 or more years of healthcare of experience required
  • Experience in managing operations of a department.
  • Experience leading recreation activities for any population
  • Experience speaking or leading a group in a professional or extra-curricular setting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Use good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Strong positive attendance track record
  • Willingness to assist co-workers and ALL members as needed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Able to be flexible to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure
  • Possess a “Do whatever it takes” mentality
  • Strong sense of urgency and efficiency in completing tasks
  • Sense of humor, high-energy and upbeat personality

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the ADC in accordance with the standards of CAADC
  • Experience with writing and processing grants
  • Implement, coordinate and manage all aspects of ADC client services, including nutrition, health care management, case management, recreation, social services, marketing/census development, and day-to-day facility operations; creates daily staff assignments.
  • Drives all activities needed to maintain daily census at optimal levels in order to meet and exceed budgeted census levels.
  • Assists with development and implementation of grant opportunities to support the programs of the Adult Day Center.
  • Directs continuous audits to ensure compliance with applicable grants.
  • Compiles accurate statistics and reports for all grant compliance including but not limited to Title IIIB, Food Program and AASCC.
  • Creates and maintains staffing schedule in compliance with the standards of CAADC.
  • Initiates and organizes and runs special events such as open houses, special receptions and visits by outside groups.
  • Integrates volunteers and students into provision of services for clients; oversee assignments and performance.
  • Conducts client home assessments in collaboration with the ADC LPN.
  • Markets Mary Wade Adult Day Services with internal and external activities to enhance census development and maintains marketing plan that promotes and coordinates existing programs (Adult Day Center) and develops new programs which extend the Mission of the Home.
  • Responsible for developing relationships with referral sources including hospitals, churches, schools, physicians, senior centers, day care centers, retirement communities,
  • Any other tasks or marketing related to admissions as deemed necessary or appropriate.
