What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airport Operations Specialist - Seasonal position at The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission?
- Meet and greet public;
- Answer questions about ground transportation, lodging, refueling, aircraft parking, air traffic control (ATC) procedures, accessing weather resources;
- Refuel aircraft; assist with aircraft parking; fuel farm and runway inspections;
- Cash handling and retail sales;
- Act as a TSA designated "Alternate Security Coordinator";
- Monitor flight activities, airfield, and all airfield access points;
- Log aircraft operations, verify pilot credentials; perform minor maintenance-related duties.
May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.
