The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Prince George's County, Arts & Cultural Heritage Division, Harmony Hall Arts Center, in Fort Washington, MD is seeking Seasonal Theatre Technicians.
The schedule will be days, evenings and weekends.
The salary range will be $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour dependent on experience, qualifications, and certifications.Qualified theatre technicians to:

- Set-up, operate, strike and store staging, sound and lighting equipment for arts programs and facilities.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
- Assist user groups with load in and strike, instruct users in the proper and safe use of theatrical equipment.
- Assist as needed with other projects associated with the facility.
- Knowledge of some of the equipment, materials, practice and tools used in theatrical lighting, sound rigging, and scenic production
- College degree or technical certification and experience preferred.
- Common hazards and necessary safety precautions involved with theatre work.
- Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks including lifting, bending, working in tiring and uncomfortable positions and from catwalks, ladders, scaffolds, and bucket lift.
