What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructors - NRLS Division - Seasonal position at The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission?
The starting salary range is $15.00/hour - $35.00/hour depending on the position, experience and certifications.
Some of the instructional areas available include:
- Crafting (Sewing, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, etc.)
- Dance (African, Ballet, Line, Hand, etc.)
- Enrichment (Language, Tutoring, Computer, STEM)
- Fitness (Cross Training, Sports Specific, Boot Camp, Spinning, Personal Trainers, etc.)
- Martial Arts (Aikido, Judo, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, etc.)
- Mind and Body Classes (Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation, etc.)
- Music (instrumental and voice)
- Sports (Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball, Tennis, Tumbling, etc.)
- At least 18 years of age;
- Have the ability to interact with a wide variety of people; have excellent interpersonal communications skills; and
- Must have reliable transportation.
Administrative experience equal to the management and/or supervision of a related program which demonstrates the applicant's ability to direct and be responsible for the program content and delivery under a minimum amount of supervision will also be considered.
