What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Services Class Instructors - Prince George's County - Seasonal position at The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission?
The Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking Seasonal lntermittent Class instructor applicants to provide instruction for a specific skill area such as computer skills, painting, drawing, arts & crafts, jewelry making, piano, singing, sign language, Spanish, Tai chi, yoga, aerobics, exercise, strength training, line dancing, and other specialty skills. Classes will be held in-person (indoor or outdoor) and virtually on Microsoft TEAMS.
Salary range is $15.00 per hour to $33.50 per hour depending on education, certifications and years of experience.
Ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service to class patrons, have experience with class instruction for seniors, keep attendance records, and communicate closely with staff and class participants.
May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.
