As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of machines or equipment to ensure they are functioning according to specifications. Your expertise will involve researching, designing, evaluating, installing, operating, or maintaining mechanical products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Confer with maintenance project engineers and management to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
- Provide technical customer service on farm to reduce disruption to day-to-day operations.
- Direct the installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, such as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or water systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding, Construction, Electrical, or similar areas of study.
- Minimum 1-2 years of mechanical equipment repair and/or maintenance experience, preferably within the swine industry.
- License or Certification: Must have a clean driving record.
