We are currently seeking applicants for the LPN Every Other Weekend 7am-3pm Position.
Job Duties:
- Under the direction of the Resident Care Director follows care plans, performs a broad range of nursing functions including administering of medications and other related protocols and assignments.
- Maintains various records and reports reflecting care given such as nursing notes, charges, receipts for drugs, and other matters that are a part of unit procedures.
- Oversees and supervises the activities of PCA’s. Makes daily assignments, and prepares other schedules.
- As part of standard routine, observes conditions, physical changes, and other significant events of residents making necessary documentation and reporting observations and recommendations to the supervisor for review and action. Performs rounds with physicians as requested as part of patient assessment and evaluation.
- Oversees various services performed with residents including the meal service to ensure residents are comfortable and meals are delivered in the prescribed manner.
- Assists in orientation and training of new staff and other administrative assignments requested.
- On-call requirement 1 time per month
Requirements:
- Current NYS LPN License
- Certification from an accredited nursing training program
- Minimum 1 years of related experience highly preferred
- Previous supervisory experience a plus
