Established ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certified supplier of washers and stampings is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Must perform maintenance, repairs and installation of industrial equipment and company facilities in support of production and warehousing operations in order to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Requires good math skills.
- Requires English comprehension skills.
- Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
- Assist with on boarding and training of new hires in the department.
- Strong experience in maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Knowledgeable of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to rig and move heavy industrial equipment.
- Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to perform equipment upgrades.
Ability to weld steel.
Ability to fabricate brackets, guards, chutes and other components as required.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor in developing and implementing process, equipment and tooling improvements
Ability to accurately use calipers, micrometers, voltmeters and all other measurement devices required to trouble shoot and make quality repairs.
Ability to prioritize and perform maintenance activities based on production requirements and input from the Production Manager and department supervisors when required.
Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision at times.
Must be knowledgeable of and actively practice safety in the work environment as well as compliance with the personal protection equipment policy.
Responsible for troubleshooting and correctly repairing malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
Responsible for correct installation and operation of any equipment prior to use in production.
Responsible for building and grounds maintenance and improvement.
Responsible for assisting Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining department supplies, spare parts and inventory of lubricants used at the facility.
Experience and Education
Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a stamping environment and a high school diploma.

The company pays a competitive wage ($23.10-30.80 pr hr) based on experience and knowledge, also available is a bonus structure.
