We are looking for an experienced and motivated Gymnastics Program Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to gymnasts of all ages and abilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics, a strong knowledge of the sport, and the ability to create a safe and encouraging environment for students. The Gymnastics Coach will also be expected to assess student progress, and provide feedback on their performance.
Responsibilities:
- Teach gymnastics skills to athletes of all ages and levels.
- Motivate and encourage athletes to reach their goals.
- Ensure safety of athletes while coaching.
- Monitor progress of athletes and provide feedback.
- Provide instruction on proper technique, form, and safety.
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress.
- Design, prepare and deliver curriculum and lesson plans
- Provide specific trainings for each level
- Ensure proper procedure for teaching progression of skills
- Proper Safety training for all Rec staff members
- Planning and executing Rec Show events
- Provide effective communication to parents - emails, newsletters, fliers, etc.
- Oversee decisions to level up gymnastics
- Conduct and ensure proper maintenance of equipment
- Monitor Private Lessons Program
- Obtain certifications: USAG Safety Certification, CPR and First Aid certifications
- Assist with hiring new staff
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
