Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. at least 3 years experience. must be able to use a paint sprayer, must be able to apply lacquer and stains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinets and other wood products, ensuring high-quality standards and attention to detail. This role requires a strong understanding of various finishing techniques and materials, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply stains, paints, and sealants to cabinets using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of finishes with overall project designs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in restoring or refinishing existing cabinetry as required.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to cabinet finishing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet finishing or related fields such as construction painting or frame carpentry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and finishing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
