Warehouse Worker

Overview:
· Preparing customer orders for shipment, loading and unloading trailers, blending materials as a value-added customer service.

· Inspecting product being loaded to and unloaded from trailers for correct grade, quantity and packaging.

Duties:
· Works together with other warehouse personnel to prepare customer orders for shipment. Orders are filled according to sales orders and Customer Requirements.

· Inspecting incoming materials and samples for quality approval

· Assembles component materials and manages the mixing of blended goods.

· Responsible for inspecting orders to ensure that all customer requirements have been met.

· Must be able to obtain a lift truck driver permit.

· Responsible for keeping equipment and warehouse well maintained and cleaned up during and at the end of the shift.

· Responsible for timely preparation of customer sales orders.

· Contributes to the team concept by being member of the warehouse team.

· Reports any malfunction of the equipment to the Warehouse Manager and/or the Operations Manager to prevent potential injury to an employee or damage to the equipment.

· Advises the appropriate person when materials/supplies required to do the job need to be reordered.

· Responsible for maintaining safe work practices including, but not limited to, OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines.

· May be required to perform other duties throughout the warehouse, as conditions require.

Experience:
· Must be able to quickly learn and understand the function of the equipment and the importance of quality work.

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Rockford, MI 49341: Relocate before starting work (Required)
