Job Summary

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for implementing user-centered design in MathWorks software products for small, self-contained projects. This includes designing user experiences based on detailed requirements that meet user needs and product vision; understanding MathWorks’ product directions and developing design solutions; proposing design ideas based on usability testing, standard UX methodologies, and technical input; using user-centered research to improve coding workflows, analyze data, build algorithms, and create applications of limited scope; assisting in design processes, from early ideas and sketches to wireframes and prototypes, and into active development and go-live; contributing to requirements and design documents; and collaborating on low, medium, and high-fidelity prototypes.
