Sales Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. If you have a passion for sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you. Starting pay is $12/hr with a 1% commission rate on any items that you sell. The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work variable hours between 10am and 6pm Monday-Saturday with occasional meetings or deliveries before or after store hours. You can expect 2-3 weeks of paid training as well as a fantastic employee discount following a 3 month probationary period.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products.
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns.
- Assist customers with purchases, including processing transactions and handling cash.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives.

- Potentially help with deliveries from time to time.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of wireless technology sales or electronics sales is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandise displays.

- Ability to operate our Point of Sale system.

- Ability to team lift.

- Ability to move items up to 200 pounds (moving equipment provided for heavier items).
