May Institute is currently searching for full-time Assistive Technology Evaluators! Excellent pay and flexible schedule!
The Assistive Technology Evaluator provides comprehensive assistive technology services including screening, assessment, treatment planning, and implementation for individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties also include collaborating with families and provider agencies. This job requires access to a personal vehicle to travel to provide in-home evaluation services.

- Conducting AT evaluation services including screening, assessment, report writing, installation, programming, training, and follow up.
- Completing related documentation and backup for billing of services;
- Conducting all work in compliance with the requirements of all contracts;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills regarding AT devices and new developments in the field;
- Providing stakeholder and staff trainings;
- Maintaining a valid MA license in respective profession; and
- Technical Skills
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred;
- Knowledge and expertise in at least one respective domain of assistive technology evaluation, (e.g., communication, mobility and seating, vision, etc.);
- Experience and skill in the AT evaluation and treatment process; and
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
