Position Summary
The Restaurant Host is the first impression for guests, responsible for greeting and assisting them with warmth and professionalism. They ensure a smooth flow of service by managing the restaurant welcome area, answering questions, directing guests, and supporting the team. With a focus on guest satisfaction, the host plays a key role in creating memorable dining experiences and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant
Duties And Responsibilities
Guest Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent, general education degree or international equivalent preferred.
Language Skills
Good knowledge of the English language is mandatory as well as the ability to speak, read and write clearly. Must be able to read and listen to instructions, memos, short correspondences, and messages.
Physical Ability

Position Summary

With a focus on guest satisfaction, the host plays a key role in creating memorable dining experiences and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant
Duties And Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Knowledgably answer guest questions, especially in relation to hours of operation, hotel, restaurant and city-wide events, reservations and seating availability
- Efficiently answer phones and assist guests and/or take messages
- Guide guests throughout the dining room and property
- Assist in ensuring that every guest has a positive and memorable experience
- Effectively utilize Open Table to take reservations, seat guests, manage status of tables, and update guest profiles
- Assist servers, bussers, managers on the service floor
- Communicate scheduling conflicts, vacations, and shift changes to managers according to policies and procedures
- Communicate in a professional manner to all other staff, guests, managers
- Work together with other staff in a “One Team, One Dream” mentality
- Ensure host stand and all work surfaces are kept in neat and tidy condition throughout service
- Comply with all NC Department of Food and Safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Ability to remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
- Displays a positive and outwardly friendly attitude
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have open availability and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
