ACTIVITIES AIDE
SHIFT: 4PM-7PM, Every Other Weekend, Part-Time (12-15hrs/week)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Activities Aide assists the Activity Director in the development and implementation of planned monthly activities and daily activity schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Activities Director in carrying out the activity programs for the residents, families, and public
- Interacts positively with family members, updating them on how resident is doing in activities
- Maintain activity records on the residents
- Transport residents to and from various activities
- Assist in creating and implementing a variety of activities that creates an energetic atmosphere for our residents
- Greet family and guests as they enter the facility for planned events
- Provides direction to visitors, staff, volunteers and external population
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Displays optimism fostering a spirit of teamwork, positive attitude and conflict resolution among co-workers
- Interacts positively with residents, family members and visitors in all circumstances
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Displays excellent Customer Service by assisting and cooperating with other personnel and interdisciplinary teams exhibiting helpfulness and support to all team members
