As a key member of the Student Support Services, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including individual and group evaluations, counseling, and consultation with teachers and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide interventions for students with learning and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling services and social skills training to students
- Assist in the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans
- Contribute to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process
Requirements:
- Masters degree with valid PEL and approved program/endorsement for School Psychologist
- Knowledge of Special Education Law and procedures
- Ability to lead discussions on student eligibility for Special Education services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
