What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Med Tech/Caregiver All Shifts position at The Meadows, A Park Home Personal Care Community?
The Meadows, A Park Home Personal Care Community is currently hiring a Med Tech/Caregiver to work at our community in Montoursville. This is a part-time position. This is not a Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) position. You must be available and willing to work ALL SHIFTS as well as weekdays and weekends.
In this position, you will:
Assist residents at our 64-bed community with activities of daily living such as but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming.
Assist with medication management to ensure our residents are taking the right medicine, at the right time and the right dose.
Deliver excellent customer service to the residents and their family members.
Assist and escort residents to dining room and other in-house activities.
Document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, respiration and weight checks as well as other pertinent information in the resident's chart.
Assist with making sure the community is clean and barrier-free.
Assist with laundry and linen services.
Assist with activities, special events.
Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
Complete trainings as required and remain current.
Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have access to reliable transportation
Must be punctual and reliable
Must have the ability to read, write and verbally communicate effectively
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be willing to submit to and successfully pass drug screening
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Prior experience working with the senior population is helpful

Pay: From $15.94 per hour
