Job Summary:
The Meadows is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented dining room server to join our dining services team! This role is essential in providing a positive dining experience for our residents by ensuring high-quality service, assisting with meal service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist residents in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take meal orders and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the dietary needs and preferences of residents are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables, refilling supplies, and clearing dishes.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist residents with mobility needs as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Provide a high level of customer service and contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Culinary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation (training provided).
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
