What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at The Meadows?
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining designated areas
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, and restrooms
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash bins
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Handle and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Experience in porter or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Proficient in floor care, including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of assigned duties
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
