Lead Locker Room Attendant – Job Summary
Under the direction of the Management, the Lead Locker Room Attendant serves as a team leader, ensuring exceptional service for all Club Members and Guests. This role sets the standard for performance, trains team members on operational procedures, upholds Club policies, assists with conflict resolution, and escalates issues to Management when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in performing all Locker Room Attendant duties at the highest standard.
- Uphold integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness in all interactions.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and fostering positive relationships.
- Ensure overall member satisfaction by handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism and hospitality, escalating issues to Management as needed.
- Maintain pristine locker room and lounge facilities, ensuring cleanliness and operational excellence while holding peers accountable to standards.
- Monitor and maintain safe and comfortable facility conditions, including water and steam room temperatures; report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist with locker assignments and nameplate management.
- Monitor supply levels and notify Management when restocking is needed.
- Promote teamwork and engagement among staff, actively participating in team meetings.
- Train team members on Club policies, procedures, and expectations, ensuring adherence to daily operations and task lists.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of safety and emergency protocols, addressing issues with urgency and discretion.
- Assist in training and supervising staff on emergency response procedures, including incident handling and reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments and work harmoniously with coworkers and leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
