Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Telemetry

License : Registered Nurse (RN)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

Prior COVID experience
Telemetry and / or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience

Job Description :

Join a dedicated COVID unit located on the 3rd Floor of the Central Tower, designed to provide exceptional care to patients navigating the complexities of COVID.

The unit comprises 17 beds and utilizes equipment such as hardwired monitors, pulse oximetry, and Welch Allyn vital sign monitors integrated with the Meditech EMR system.

Manage a typical patient ratio of 5 : 1 during night shifts, with staffing adjustments depending on census.

Perform procedures including BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow NC O2.

Deliver compassionate care to patients who are not permitted visitors, ensuring regular communication with families for updates.

Foster a team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on cooperation and empathy for patients.

Adhere to unit guidelines and policies, with all patients in isolation requiring gowns, masks, and face / eye protection.

Experience a fulfilling work environment, with patients expressing gratitude for the level of care and support provided.
