We have an IMMEDIATE opportunity for a Chaplain to join our team offering 30 hours per week. The Chaplain is responsible for providing Spiritual/Pastoral counseling service to the patient/family, hospice staff and volunteers, as needed, to assess and address the spiritual/pastoral, bereavement and/or the additional individual and/or group counseling needs. QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry. Master's of Divinity preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chaplain/spiritual counselor. Clinical Pastoral education and Hospice experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability:
Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospital setting. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes.
