Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Collaborate with other accounting department members to ensure operational duties are performed efficiently and accurately.
- Help with Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely and correct processing.
- Participate in Month-End Close processes, preparing and entering journal entries.
- Perform assigned account reconciliation tasks and ensure accurate financial records.
- Help with tax preparation, audits, and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Serve as a Departmental Liaison, ensuring clear communication between finance and other departments.
- Maintain administrative record keeping and data entry for financial transactions and documentation.
- Assist with various other accounting duties as assigned to support the department.
Data Analyst Duties:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns within the healthcare industry.
- Create and maintain databases and data systems to support your findings.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or data analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong research skills and experience in data interpretation and presentation.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
