Summary
As a Store Manager at Addison County Home Health & Hospice, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. This role is vital in upholding our commitment to improving the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Manage staff training and development to enhance team performance and service delivery.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies effectively for optimal operations.
- Implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Engage with clients and their families to address concerns and improve service satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and recommend improvements.
- Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns Facility personnel to specific duties.
- Formulates pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of store operations.
- Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing, merchandise displays and advertising copy.
- Supervises Facility personnel engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records or preparing records of transactions for Accountant.
- Orders merchandise or prepare requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.
- Ensures compliance of Facility personnel with established security, sales and recordkeeping procedures and practices.
- Answers customer’s complaints or inquiries.
- Locks and secures store.
- Maintains confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a management role, preferably within healthcare or service industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience in staff training and development is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
