We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist /Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist with basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs when necessary.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to update patient information.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including handling correspondence and managing office supplies.
- Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and general information about the clinic.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist/Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with clinic operations.
- Understanding of physiology and emergency medicine concepts is a plus.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems for patient management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
