The Medve Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Metairie team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our established apartment complex.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the community and equipment to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, including lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts.
- Respond to resident requests as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing tools for diagnostics.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Requirements:
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
- Must be able to perform on-call duties.
- HVAC certification.
