We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service by efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests at their tables.
- Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are correct and meet guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by being attentive to customer needs and responding promptly to inquiries.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette is a plus, as you may assist with reservations or inquiries.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
