What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heart of House Dishwasher position at The Melting Pot | Wilmington?
A chain is only as strong as each link within it. By the same token, it is imperative that the Heart of the House (HOH) team member operates with the same goal in mind, which is satisfying the guest. The HOH team members are involved with every facet of food preparation, as well as the final presentation as it is to be delivered to the guest. Their importance cannot be overstated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows and reinforces The Melting Pot culture- Practices teamwork by communicating with and assisting all members of the restaurant team, promoting positive interaction between all team members.
- Adheres to and maintains company policies and standards, complying with uniform standards, appearance and grooming best practices and federal, state and local laws and guidelines concerning alcoholic beverages and food safety.
- Follows all of the company’s specifications and procedures to ensure Exceptional Food. Follows all food rotation and re-stocking procedures using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. Follows and uses all food safety procedures and logs.
- Uses checklists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift and effective time management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS
- High school or college course work / restaurant experience or training is highly-desired. Food safety certification recommended.
