Job Description
As a School Social Worker Clinician with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.
Direct-Hire, Salaried position with benefits and paid benefit time off.
Staff Hours 7:30 am to 3 pm, M-F, following a school calendar.
\n- Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches
- Build leadership to effectively help students succeed
- Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
- Monitor and report student progress and complete evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
- Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times
- Required: One of the following Licenses/Certifications: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate), MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
- Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills

- 10 Month Position with 12 Month Pay

About Fox Tech Transition Program
The Fox Tech Transition Program is dedicated to providing a safe platform for young adults, ages 17-22. Our program helps them prepare for their next phase by providing a supportive environment for career exploration, skill development, health and wellness, behavior regulation, and independent living. Facilitators offer personalized real-world experiences to maximize each participant's independence.
Students gradually transition through different placements, practicing new skills and behaviors in a safe environment. The program assesses their skills through hands-on projects and student-led businesses. As students progress, they demonstrate employability skills such as problem solving, effective communication, time-management, self-advocacy, community integration, transportation, adaptive living skills, and related work behaviors.
Students Served: High School-Age 21
