The Menta Education Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Paraprofessional with a focus on student transportation and support. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and successful transportation of students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily student transportation services using school equipment (van or bus)
- Manage classroom behaviors and provide regular support to students
- Report behavioral concerns to appropriate staff and implement behavior management strategies
- Maintain a safe and secure learning environment
- Assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain a Passenger Endorsement
- Preferred but not required CDL-B certification
- Age 23 or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Paraprofessional Certification ideal, but not required
- Punctual and good attendance record
- Established work history in transportation and demonstrated length-of-stay in jobs
