Position Summary:
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is seeking a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join the Intake Team. Duties include providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individuals seeking adult outpatient services. Familiarity with the DSM 5-TR, strong skills in engagement, differential diagnosis, and substance use assessment required. Applicants should also be able to provide therapeutic interim care until the patient is assigned to the treatment team, which will include individual therapy, case management, and crisis interventions when required. Regular clinical supervision is provided. The ideal candidate is comfortable working individually as well as collaboratively with a team approach to perform differential diagnosis and formulate a disposition. Experience using computers and email is required. Experience with electronic medical records and telehealth/video platforms is preferred. This is a hybrid position with flexibility between in-office and remote work environments and will have a Monday through Friday schedule.
Requirements
Education: Master's in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the DSM-5 criteria and differential diagnosis
Education
Master's level clinician in social work or mental health counseling. LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT Licensed preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of one year's experience in a mental health treatment environment
Qualifications
- Must have completed at least one year of work in the field of psychiatric/mental health services.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy.
- Basic fundamental computer experience to process e-mail and client access is required.
