Position Summary:
We are looking for a Marketing director to join our team at the Meridian Galveston! This person will have excellent people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and also genuinely care and have an interest in elderly and handicapped people.
Responsibilities:
· Marketing or community relations experience, including knowledge of health care industry.
· Requires the ability to work independently.
· Extensive local travel.
· Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.
· Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities.
· Ability to comply with Company and departmental and safety policies and procedures.
· Ability to read and write the English language.
· Develop and implement facility marketing plans, including a minimum of 24 hours per week of calling or meeting with hospital discharge planners, physicians, senior citizen organizations, and/or social service organizations.
· Make speaking presentations on long-term care, aging or other appropriate topics to local community groups.
· Conduct facility tours and complete daily admissions process for prospective residents.
· Prepare weekly reports as required.
· Promote internal efforts for community relations programs.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
