Job Opportunity: Estimator (Commercial, Residential, and Sheet Metal)
Location: Kansas City, MO
Position: Estimator (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial, residential, and sheet metal projects.
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and scope of work.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather cost data.
- Analyze project requirements, assess material costs, labor, and time constraints.
- Provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Finalize bids and proposals in collaboration with the team.
- Maintain thorough documentation of estimates and project correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in estimating commercial, residential, and/or sheet metal projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
- Proficiency with industry estimation software (e.g., Procore, Builder trend, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
