The Meteor is an unexpected mash-up of all-day cafe, cocktails, natural wine shop, and boutique bike shop. We are open 7 days a week from 7am - 10pm . We are a counter service cafe that makes no fuss coffee and surprisingly good food with refreshing beverages to compliment.
Overview:
We are currently hiring for the BevPro position (barista, bartender, server). We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We are hiring for part time and full time positions, Weekend availability mandatory. Prior cafe and coffee experience is preferred. Communication skills, teamwork, and positive attitudes are required.
Duties:
The specific duties and responsibilities
BevPro:
- Welcoming and greeting guests
-Taking orders and tendering transactions with accuracy
-Making and serving beverages according to The Meteor recipes and specs
-Working knowledge of The Meteor's food offerings
-Running food and bussing tables
- Maintaining a clean work area and dining room
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work different shifts or schedules as needed
