Psychological Testing Technician/Psychometrist
The Metis Center for Psychological Services is a small private practice providing testing services for pediatric and adult patients. We are a dynamic and supportive team of psychologists who are eager to welcome the right candidate to our team of professionals. The right candidate for this position will have an understanding of psychological/neuropsychological test administration and scoring, in addition to a commitment to excellent and ethical clinical practice. This candidate will work in close consultation with treating psychologists in administering and scoring tests for interpretation by the psychologist.
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters degree in psychology or related field, or board certified psychometrist, with formal training in statistics, test administration and scoring, psychometric measurement, and psychopathology. Students who have completed appropriate coursework will be considered, as will graduates working on hours toward licensure.
- Supervised experience in the administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain rapport as necessary for test administration.
- Ethical and responsible use of confidential information.
- Ability to multi-task and work courteously and respectfully with fellow employees, clients, and patients.
- Other related duties as assigned or requested.
