Shift: 8am to 5pm

Summary
Plans, organizes, and ensures the ongoing efficient operation of the Supply Chain Data Team and all supporting Supply Chain software systems. Participates in development of strategic plan for data management and reporting for Supply Chain Leadership team. Schedules and defines application software development and enhancements with Information Services personnel. Assigns, instructs, and directs the work of staff assigned to projects. Meets with Supply Chain staff to ascertain specific requirements and assist in the completion of programming specifications. Performs user coordination/liaison and formally presents project status to all concerned parties and at all levels. Monitors applications for adherence to documented requirements, quality assurance and integrity. Assists in preparing installation schedules, user training, procedural documentation and project control. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree with seven to ten years work experience in health care environment. Three to five years demonstrative administrative ability in health care systems. Training in systems analysis with special emphasis in data processing standards, supervisory techniques, user relations, data gathering techniques, written and oral communications, and management information systems. Technical training in a higher-level programming language and special statistical applications. Experience and in-depth knowledge in supply chain management, hospital operations, operations research, and statistical analysis. Working knowledge of databases, database query tools, report writing tools and Microsoft Office applications. Analytic ability, ability to manage people, and verbal and written communication ability. Experience in project planning or supervision, as a system/management/procedures analyst, director of a subtask or a major project, or supervisor of an operating group. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred: Master's Degree or post graduate studies in related fields Experience in the following applications: Lawson procurement module, OnBase, EPIC Optime, and/or Pyxis.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
