What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Radiologist position at The MetroHealth System?
The Department of Radiology at The MetroHealth System / Case Western Reserve University is growing and offering an exciting and unique opportunity for a Nuclear Radiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an active Ohio medical license (or eligible), ABR and / or ABNM board certifications as Nuclear Radiologist or Nuclear Medicine physician with expertise in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and a strong interest in clinical service, research, and teaching.
The MetroHealth Medical System is an integrated health system with an acute care hospital housing a Level I Adult Trauma and Burn Center, a skilled nursing facility and more than twenty-five locations throughout northeastern Ohio. It is an outstanding public, safety-net academic medical system affiliated with Case Western Reserve University and provides medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, and vision services to diverse underserved communities in Cuyahoga County / Cleveland Ohio and surrounding areas.
We offer an extremely competitive academic compensation package which includes base salary with a production bonus opportunity where top earners can earn $475K , health insurance, paid time off, liability insurance, an academic appointment to the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine faculty at a rank commensurate with experience, CME opportunities, malpractice coverage and an impressive pension program with a generous employer match through the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
